I am an AASI certified snowboard instructor. The professional organization of AASI (American Association of Snowboard Instructors) is a sub-division of PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America). I have taught snowboarding at Bear Valley Mountain Resort for seven seasons and loved every minute of it!

While working as a snowboard instructor, I started the Women's Snowboard Clinics at Bear Valley. A supportive environment and caring atmosphere are priorities for the clinic. Each participant is able to advance at her own speed and is given a lot of time to practice each task learned. Women of all ages (including a few in their sixties) have participated, had fun, and went away feeling successful in their first attempt at snowboarding.

My passion for teaching snowboarding is not limited to women or adults. I love teaching students of all ages and all levels.
